My friends who know me well know that I’m not the most physically active person. But with a new year Ive decided that it’s time to balance out my lifestyle and actually get more exercise.
I recently accompanied my manager to Fitness First at The Curve in Mutiara Damansara on 6 January 2016 for the launch of the new season of Fit for Fashion (F4F). The programme is airing on Star World at 8.00pm on Thursdays, and is an inspirational, first-of-its-kind reality TV show which aims to motivate its viewers to start their own transformational journeys, with even tougher challenges and more drama between the contestants. There are two more episodes left in season 2 so better catch them quick!
Just a little background on the show - Fit for Fashion is the first-ever reality TV shows that brings together the world fitness and fashion. The 10-episode series follows the journey of 14 individuals from different countries and age groups seeking to transform their lives. Over the cours…

A Li Yaa Island Restaurant and Bar ♡ FOOD REVIEW

Image
I got the pleasure to be invited to A Li Yaa recently to try out their food and was stoked as I am a fan for speciality cuisines, things out of the norm. Sometimes I get really bored of every day food and being chinese I have loads of chinese food often so when the mention of  Sri Lanka cuisine I said yes right away!

"Architecturally hand-crafted luxe design with atypical comfort boost, EOD busts down the demarcation between work and play"
That's what I love about Extraordinary Ordinary Day (EOD for short). Not only are their shoes made of leather, their shoes are all handcrafted with love and care to the finest details and love to be your partner in crime to win this exciting game called life!

Did a quick last minute trip to the land down under in a city called Perth just to meet up with the baby sis. She decided to spend her winter in Australia and not head back for the semester break and since I was missing her I thought, why not?

My Trip to Melbourne with the Travel Recommends Overseas Wi-Fi

I travel quite often and the only thing that keeps me connected to my family and friends back home would be my phone and iPad. I hardly bring my laptop around so as even on my travels, I am continuously on the go hence I try to pack as light as I can.

As a girl, I have my handbag, my hand carry and my check in luggage to lug around. I’ll usually get a sim card the minute I land to send my family a message saying I arrived safely but that whole process takes forever! I have to look for a telco provider booth, then wait a good 10 to 20 mins for them to activate it, print a copy of my passport details, etc. I was ecstatic when I found out that Travel Recommends provides a portable Wi-Fi Router which could help with this.

The minute I landed in Melbourne (my recent trip overseas) all I had to do was switch it on and connect my phone and voila! So quick, fast, and easy. No hassle of queuing up and such. My friends didn’t have to wait for me and I was out of immigration in a…

✈ Korea Summer 2015 ♡ Ultra Music Festival Day One ✈

So it's my second time to Seoul Korea this year and I am back for Summer! I have been blessed that by June I have already experience all the four seasons. From Autumn in Melb, Spring and Summer in Seoul and Winter in Perth.
I was stoked for this trip as it took so much planning and stressing as when it was almost time to head there, there was the outbreak of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome.
So many ended up cancelling their flights, hotels and tickets. And it seemed pretty serious as the hotels I booked mostly all allowed refunds when they normally wouldn't.  However, we stuck to our decision and made sure we had all the right supplements and preps we need. We also had people there updating us constantly of the outbreak just incase it got worse and we decide to cancel our trip.

However, things got better and once we were there we could see how the Korean government differs from ours. They were very thorough with everything, and shops in the city were handing out face m…
