What makes you feel and look good? Nivea Men.

Was having this random thought a few days back and decided to share it with all you readers, especially you male readers of mine.

We ladies spend most of our time looking our best whether we're out having drinks with our girlfriends, date nights, attending events or just about anything! It's always important to us to make a good first impression of ourselves to people we'll be meeting or even strangers at times, cause who knows, they could be your next BF or a potential client.

But I've been wondering, how does this fair towards the opposite sex. I mean, most guys I know wouldn't give second thoughts about how they look at times but then there's those bunch of guys I know which will spend hours in front of a mirror (sometimes longer than the amount of time I take!) making sure every strand of hair is styled into place, no unwanted stubs hanging round their face and so on but that is a bit too much lar.
First impression means a lot to me, it's how I perceive people by my first look at them and also how I want people to perceive me. It's okay to be in your sweatpants and hair all tied up on your lazy days but not when you're attending an event right?

You seriously can't expect people to be interested in talking to you if you don't even bother to make an effort to look good. Even when I’m lazy I still make an effort to go for facials, gym sessions and hair treatments. There's no point wearing the most expensive suit or dress if your foundations are flawed.

I guess all of us ladies do whatever we can to stay tip-top in shape. So back to the opposite sex, I've only come across one guy friend of mine who has a full set of skin care products and spends his time applying them daily and really taking care of his skin. Some have a few products and only use them a couple of times a week. The rest of my guy friends only have like one product and it's just sitting there on the shelf.

Well, I find guys who take care of their skin ultra-sexy and independent. I mean, they at least know what's good for them and it's their responsibility to take care of themselves right? Plus when someone notices you they will most likely look at your face first before anything else (we’re excluding the sleazy guys who look at a women’s chest/ bum first before anything else). A conversation usually starts after you make eye contact with the person.

We're living in the 21st century and there's nothing wrong with guys who want to maintain how they look. If you don’t want to go the whole nine yards at least master the basics of a proper skin care regime and that always starts with cleansing.

I do also respect guys who go the extra mile with monthly facials, quarterly manicure and pedicures upkeep. Let's face it, we're all human and sometimes we need the extra help and I think that's more than enough help a guy can get. Anything more is just a wee bit too much.

Now you guys know girls like me prefer men who take care of themselves, its time to make a small difference to your life, start to look good and feel good, and let the girls come to you *wink*?

One of the steps to get a great looking and non-oily complexion is cleansing. Cleansing is important because it cleanses your skin to unclog all dirt, oil and impurities from your skin. It refreshes your skin and makes you look good and feel good.
