✈ Danang, Vietnam 2014 ♡ Part II ✈

Second day of our trip in Da Nang and we booked a private car to take us around for some sightseeing.

First stop was Ba Na Hills.

I felt like I was in Genting as it was quite chilly and well, I was surrounded by hills.

At the foothill you'll be greeted by a dancing fountain, statues and typical touristy stuffs.

So we took a cable car up to the mountain.
Yay! Not.

I hate cable cars and I'm afraid of heights, doesn't help when I found out that it's gonna be a 20 minute ride up.

Nevertheless, I had beautiful views of streams and waterfalls to distract me from my fears.
What a pretty sight! Da Nang is definitely not just beach and seafood but there's really other things to see and do as well.

Ba Na Hills is still in the midst of completion but nevertheless it was something.
The buildings reminded me of castles and villages back in the days and every piece of detail put in was just wow.

They even had an indoor theme park filled with amusement rides and games, and also a wax museum!

How amazing is that? And there's still a new phase yet to be completed! This place is HUGE.

After a bit more of exploring and the fam went for rides while I just chilled in the cool winds we headed back down, ready for our next stop. Can you imagine we spent 4 hours there?

So we visited the Goddess of Mercy temple which was overlooking the bay area.
It was very VERY windy and I obviously wasn't prepared for it.

Size comparison for your visual satisfaction.

A very beautiful serene place to be.
We watched the sunset from there and then headed back to the city after for the show on the dragon bridge.

Yes, the dragon literally breathes fire and also water.

Look at the amount of people opposite watching this. I guess the whole Da Nang was sorta there.
Funny how everyone's on their cellphone aye.

After that we went off for dinner right beside our hotel and we wanted to check out a club at Novotel called Sky36, to much of our despair it was closed till New Year. What a bummer!
