Smile Makers Launched in Malaysia

Thanks to Lazada. I attended a very interesting launch recently about a rather interesting if not very commonly overtly spoken topic. Not only did I learn quite a bit during and after that launch but I also found out that Malaysian women have the highest level of sexual satisfaction of countries surveyed in Asia and Europe! 3 out of 4 Malaysian women feel that they are in control of their sex life, which is good isn’t it?

These are the findings of a nationwide survey on female satisfaction unveiled by Smile Makers. Smile Makers who you’re probably asking?

Well they are definitely not a dental clinic but before we get to that, let’s have a look at the results of a survey they conducted:

65% of Malaysian women are sexually satisfied.

73% of Malaysian women feel they are in control of their sexual satisfaction.

68% of Malaysian women feel sexual satisfaction is important.

79% of Malaysian women talk about sex openly as well as their own sex lives with their partners and female friends.

9 out of 10 Malaysian women view women who own a vibrator positively and neutrally, thinking them to be open to new experiences and fun & spontaneous.

78% of Malaysian women have experienced dryness-related pain during sex, negatively affecting their sexual satisfaction.

58% of Malaysian women have used a personal lubricant, which is higher than other Asian countries.

Over half of women in Malaysia are more open to either using, or the idea of trying out a vibrator than many Asian and European counterparts.

Three-quarters of Malaysian women consider the ingredients in lubricant products before purchasing them.

68% of Malaysian women are sexually satisfied.

This is significantly higher than Asia and European countries - Singapore 45%, Hong Kong 53%,     UK 28%.

73% of Malaysian women feel they are in control of their sexual satisfaction.

Malaysian women feel sexual satisfaction is important, and there are many emotional and physical advantages associated with sexual wellbeing.

Malaysian women feel that a healthy sex life contributes to the emotional and physical wellbeing of women, including factors such as feeling loved (95%), happy (92%), attractive (83%), less stressed (83%), beautiful (77%) and healthy (61%).

68% of Malaysian women feel sexual satisfaction is important, this is significantly higher than our neighbors in Singapore (47%), but still behind some European counterparts such as France (88%).

Malaysian women have the highest level of sexual satisfaction of countries surveyed in Asia and Europe. Which is quite a surprise to me considering the prevailing conservative perceptions Malaysian women may have of themselves, or the perceptions others may have of them.
