TOMS ♡

When traveling, I try to pack light. However it can be a tad bit tough or challenging when you love to play dress up!

A few tips of my own that I would love to share with you guys - always bring an outerwear that has a neutral or light tone or black; simple classic denim jackets or the basic black bomber usually works well for me and also you can never be 100% sure that the weather stays true to what's forecast it's better to be safe than sorry. I would have a couple midi or maxi dresses as you can always dress them up or down, transitioning them from day wear to night wear. Basic clothings as strapless tees to denim shorts and jeans, light sweater and of course a pair of comfy shoes!

The type of shoes you bring along is really important as they do make or break everything. Not only it should at least match most of your outfit, it is very important that they're comfy. Imagine if you had to drag yourself everywhere looking for a pair of sandals just cause your shoes hurt.
I was introduced to TOMS. They're well known for their shoes which I'm pretty sure many of you have seen - walk down any street in major cities and you'll definitely spot them being worn by all sort of ages and races.

TOMS started in Playa Del Rey, California. It was founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie, who is an entrepreneur from Arlington, Texas. The company designs and sells shoes based on the Argentine alpargata design as well as eyewear. One thing really special and heart warming about TOMS; for every pair that is sold, a new pair of shoes is given to an impoverished child. While every pair of eyewear that's sold, a part of the profit is used to save or restore the eyesight for people in developing countries!

This is the true meaning of feel good shopping. Not only we do need a good comfy pair of shoes or proper eyewear as eye care is super important, you're doing something good at the same time.

All around, the infamous canvas shoes have been given to children in 70 countries worldwide, including countries like the United States, Argentina, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Swaziland, Guatemala, Haiti, and South Africa. They're also widely sold at more than five hundred stores world wide which include shoes made from recycled materials.

TOMS then get volunteers who goes on shoe distribution trips to hand-deliver shoes to the children. In 2006, it was estimated that TOMS distributed 10,000 pairs of shoes in Argentina itself! As of 2012, Toms has given away over one million pairs of shoes in 40 over countries.

Not only are they comfy, TOMS shoes conform to fit your feet perfectly after a few wears making them very comfy. Plus being made out of canvas, they're pretty easy to bring around when traveling or even when you want to change from heels to flats as they're soft and light. Best part is, you'd never be bored of them as there's a huge range of colours and designs to choose from! The basic colours are already enough to cover your whole wardrobe to mix and match, but on top of that there's the seasonal special designs which are really cool as you can find sparkly ones to design patterns.
